These terms cover what Leaned Out LLC ("Leaned Out", "we") provides: Race Management, Live RC Overlays, the racer pages, this website, our hardware and merch, and the text messages we send. By using any of them, you agree to these terms. Sponsors also have our Sponsorship Terms.
1. Text messages
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Leaned Out LLC regarding event updates, race information, scheduling, customer service, and order notifications.

2. If you are a racer
When you enter a race, you are entering with the track running it. The track sets its own entry fees, rules and waiver, and what you pay is between you and the track. Your name, classes, heats and results can appear on public race lists, TV boards, streams and results pages.
3. Subscriptions
Race Management is charged per track, each month. Live RC Overlays is charged per scoring PC, each month. Current prices are on our product pages. A subscription renews each month until it is canceled, and there is no long-term commitment.
Live RC Overlays includes a seven-day trial. We may change our prices by giving you reasonable advance notice.
4. Texts sent for a track
A track's text messages are billed separately each month, for what was sent, at the rates on our Race Management page. Texts are counted per driver, not per entry. Extra messages a track chooses to send are charged on top.
5. Late payment
If a Live RC Overlays subscription is unpaid, it keeps running for seven days past its paid-through date and then stops until it is paid. If a Race Management subscription or a text bill is unpaid, we may turn off the service or texting until the account is current.
6. Canceling and refunds
You may cancel at any time by emailing us. Your subscription stays active through the end of the current paid period and does not renew.
Payments already made are generally nonrefundable, and we do not give partial-month refunds when you cancel. If we end a subscription without cause before the end of a paid period, we will refund the unused part of that period.
We may end a subscription for nonpayment, fraud, unlawful activity, a breach of these terms, or conduct that could reasonably harm Leaned Out or the people who use our services.
7. Your data when you stop
When a subscription ends, we keep that track's data for 30 days and then delete it. This includes racers, results, points and My day data, and any LiveTime backups we hold.
To keep your data for longer, suspend your account for $10 a month before the 30 days are up. We keep your data for as long as a suspended account is paid. The services do not run while an account is suspended. Come back and subscribe again, and your data is there.
8. Hardware
TV sticks come with a one-year warranty from the date you buy them. It covers a stick that fails in normal use. It does not cover loss, or damage from misuse, water or power. If a stick fails, email us and we will repair or replace it.
A Chromebook or kiosk setup bought from us is managed by Leaned Out, so it opens your track's kiosk by itself. You may use any other device for the kiosk instead.
9. Using the services
- Keep your board passwords and activation codes to yourself. One activation code runs one PC.
- You are responsible for your own PC, internet connection and LiveTime setup.
- Only upload logos, pictures and sponsor marks you have the right to use.
- Tracks are responsible for their own waivers, and for the texts they choose to send.
- Do not copy, resell or take apart our software, or use it to break the law.
LiveTime, OBS and the other programs our services work with belong to their own makers, and changes they make can affect what our services do.
10. No guarantee
We work hard to keep everything running on race day, but our services are provided as they are, and we do not promise they will always be available or free of errors. Race Management boards need an internet connection. Results come from LiveTime, and a track's own results are the official ones.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost entries, lost income or a race that could not run. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
11. Merch
Merch is made to order, and delivery takes 10 to 14 days. Because every item is made just for you, there are no returns. If something arrives wrong or damaged, email us and we will put it right.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using our services after that means you accept the update.
